Mindful Eating for Overeaters

To realign healthy choices with our healthy selves, we must look at the root causes of our overeating, not the symptoms. Our physical hunger for food and mental appetite should unite in a single, healthy desire. This workshop focuses on personal experience and practical steps.  Together, we will discover what lies behind your overeating habits, learn what the difference is between wants and needs, become aware of automatic and unconscious behaviours and investigate the underlying motivations and impulses that drive us. You will learn how to focus on your life, not your food.

The Mindful Eating for Overeaters workshop is therefore a journey that addresses the following:

How to live normally with food

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course

This course coaches you in coping with and managing stress. Many modern illnesses are stress-related. Our ability to cope with the demands of our modern lifestyle and to live in the present moment has decreased.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a programme developed 30 years ago at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre. This 8-week programme teaches mindfulness techniques for people who are experiencing stress, chronic illness and who wants to learn to live more mindfully.

You will learn to be mindful of what environmental or inner issues are creating distress; what leads to stress and anxiety, and you will learn simple techniques to destress your life.
